Svenja… I -love- and I do mean -love- how you’ve essentially created your own poetic form. This way of repeating words is something that I shall try to play with… It’s really, really special

David (please forgive my mistake), your comment leaves me speechless. Thank you so much. I’m honoured.

        my pleasure❣️

BTW, please feel free to call me ‚David‘ because that’s my first name.

The word ‚ben‘ simply means ’son of‘ in Hebrew, and my father’s name was ‚Alexander’… I created my blog in his memory, you see…

I know it’s super confusing because ‚Ben‘ is also a very popular name in English. I’m sorry about the confusion! 🙈

        Much love,
        David

Oh, I’m sorry. I read it in your blog but I didn’t internalize that because in German it isn’t common to address someone in their fathers name despite it is a really moving way to pay respect. I will correct my answer and I’m honoured to use your name for future references. Please know my mistake wasn’t intentionel and certainly not as a form of disrespect. Thank you for letting me know. Have a good day David
        Best regards Svenja

Svenja – don’t worry about it at all!!

A trillion people have made exactly the same mistake (I counted!) – it’s totally a logical assumption! 😁

    You are welcome 😊

I enjoyed the form of your poem, the swelling of the stanzas as we move through, adding to the impact of your repeat and alliteration, along with your use of CAPiTALS except for i – /iNTERNALiZING THEiR SWELLiNG RHYTHM/ – a poem with many hidden messages, deep …. thank you
