hi, Svenja❣️
Sorry for the delayed message (my life has been very hectic of late), but this week’s W3, hosted by our beloved Marion, is live until tomorrow. Here’s the URL:

Much love,
David
Thank you David, and no worries! I checked it out already!
*hug!*
As it is, I just finished writing my participating poem and am about to put it out there!
Yay! ❤
This feels raw and unguarded to me, Svenja. “my precious gift of childlike joy” really catches — it’s vulnerable without tipping into sentimentality.

🥰 Thank you, David. Yes, it really was unexpected.
*Drücker*
The art really adds to this poem!
Thank you so much! As I wrote the lyrics I suddenly thought about this painting which I created during a difficult time of my life and which I nearly had forgotten. And now they can stand together. I love this.
“I’ll hold on to my precious gift of childlike joy.” – I try to do this but it’s difficult balancing it with adult responsibilities. There’s no one left to save us.
Our inner child is just waiting to be acknowledged, to be coaxed into the light. Reach out and take it from there.
This reminds me of a Lou Barlow lyric:“It’s so hard to fall in love, knowing all the things I know,Seeing all the things I’ve seen…“
Beautiful and true.
Beautiful verseand artwork. Nicely done.
Thank you so much! 🥰
My pleasure.
Beautiful verse and art pairing.
Thank you so much, Violet. This one hit quiet deep. It’s interesting where some prompts will guide you.
